Did College Covid-19 Vaccine Mandates Go Too Far?
Handful of Earth featured in MIT Science Magazine, Undark
Many readers know that I have been involved with the anti-mandate movement, which is a topic I’ve written about at Handful of Earth on a number of occasions. Due to my public stand against covid vaccine mandates on college and university campuses, I was contacted by a science journalist, Sara Talpos, with the MIT-based magazine, Undark, for a series of interviews.
The result of Sara’s reporting was published this week in a long-form piece entitled, “Did College Covid-19 Vaccine Mandates Go Too Far?”
In addition interview quotes, Sara features Handful of Earth in the article, linking to my recent essay, “The Truth of the Anecdote.” Here’s the link to her article, and a short excerpt:
As students return to campus for the 2023-2024 academic year, most Covid-19 vaccine requirements have been lifted or simplified. This is cold comfort to Kelley and other critics of campus mandates, who note that young men also have a small but heightened risk for worrying side effects from the vaccines. In speaking with Undark, Kelley described the vaccine mandates, and the booster requirements in particular, as coercive policies that college administrators, and even many of his fellow students, simply refused to question, even as evidence supporting them waned.
Congratulations on being included in the MIT magazine! Kudos to you for speaking up and launching a petition. It is painful to read this type of article, given that much wiser, less coercive decisions could have been made (as was the case in Switzerland and Sweden). Thank you!
Great work!
Consider however, that the "return of mandates" could very possibly simply be distractions for something far more nefarious that they're in the process of coming to fruition.
That's their MO.
If everyone's reacting, then there are fewer peopel pro-acting. Let's not forget, the same ilk just obliterated via what was essentially disintegration, an entire resort city in Hawaii, people, pets, property, all. They did 9-11.
